The Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Distinguished Senator Chief Ighoyota Amori, PhD has congratulated the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as an outstanding technocrat, consummate public servant and dependable ally in Delta State’s development journey.

In a congratulatory statement released by his Public Relations Officer, Mr. Joelson Wilson, Senator Amori lauded Dr. Emu’s sterling contributions to governance, economic planning and public administration in Delta State.

According to Senator Amori, Dr. Emu’s life and career reflect uncommon dedication to service, professionalism and excellence.

“Dr. Kingsley Emu is a rare blend of intellect, discipline and humility. His distinguished career in both the private and public sectors stands as a testament to his commitment to service, strategic thinking and people-oriented leadership,” Amori said.

He recalled Dr. Emu’s service as Commissioner for Commerce and Industry (2011–2014), Commissioner for Economic Planning (2015–2019), Chief Economic Adviser to the Governor (2019–May 2023), and his current role as Secretary to the State Government, which he assumed in June.

“Beyond official duties, Dr. Emu is a loyal friend and dependable partner. He has always found time to attend my birthday celebrations over the years, a gesture that speaks volumes about his warmth, humility and respect for relationships,” Senator Amori added.

He described the celebrant, who hails from Owanta in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, as a worthy ambassador of his community and a key pillar in the realization of the Governor’s MORE Agenda.

“As he marks another year today, I wish Dr. Kingsley Emu continued good health, wisdom and strength to keep serving Delta State and humanity with distinction,” Senator Amori stated.

The Chief Adviser prayed for greater accomplishments and renewed grace for the SSG in the years ahead.
