Hon. Ejiro Okumagba distributed 100 bags of 10kg rice to constituents drawn from Okumagba 11, Ward 1, and Okumagba 12, Ward 2, in what many described as a timely intervention amid prevailing economic realities.

A large crowd on Saturday thronged Ighogbadu Secondary School, Warri, as Hon. Ejiro Okumagba, a leading figure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 2, Okumagba 12 and Member, Delta State Rural Development Agency, distributed food items to residents as part of activities marking the festive season.

Hon. Ejiro Okumagba distributed 100 bags of 10kg rice to constituents drawn from Okumagba 11, Ward 1, and Okumagba 12, Ward 2, in what many described as a timely intervention amid prevailing economic realities.

Speaking during the exercise, Okumagba said the distribution was driven by his desire to give back and strengthen community bonds.

“This season is about sharing, unity and compassion. Our people deserve to feel supported, especially at a time like this,” he said, adding that grassroots engagement remains central to his public service philosophy.

Following the distribution, a well-attended entertainment ceremony was held at Hon. Okumagba’s residence, drawing chiefs, community leaders, elders, youths and APC faithful from across Warri. The gathering was marked by music, celebration and expressions of solidarity.

At the event, participants unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Olorogun Bernard Okumagba, leader of APC Warri Urhobos and Okumagba 2, Ward 11, commending his leadership and role in strengthening the party’s structure in the area.

The gathering also passed votes of confidence on President Bola Tinubu, endorsing his leadership and expressing support for a second term, as well as on Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in appreciation of what speakers described as his people-oriented governance and commitment to development.

In a vote of thanks, community representatives praised Hon. Ejiro Okumagba for his generosity and hospitality, describing the gesture as a reflection of his consistent dedication to the welfare of the Okere Urhobo people.

The event ended peacefully in an atmosphere of unity, joy and renewed commitment to community cohesion and support for purposeful leadership.
